My Compass for Action

My Compass for Action – From Vision and Values to Guiding Principles

Transformation needs direction. Discover what drives me, how I work, and what I stand for – as a sparring partner, executive, architect, and hands-on leader of complex business & IT transformations:

Vision & Beliefs

What I stand for – and why it matters for your transformation.

Transformation only succeeds when people perceive change as an opportunity. Business goals, strategy, processes, and architecture only create impact when they are fully aligned – and truly lived by the people in the organization.

I‘m convinced that:

  • Organizations must continuously reinvent themselvesculturally, structurally, and technologically.
  • People first: Every transformation starts with people – with how they perceive and experience change.
  • Architecture and processes form the stable backbone of any lasting transformation.
  • Technology must drive business value from day one – not just follow along.
  • Clarity in structure, architecture, and processes is the foundation for speed and innovation strength.

My goal:

To empower organizations to evolve faster, more intelligently, and more sustainably – guided by a clear roadmap, a reliable compass, and execution that delivers.

„In 20 years in process management and systems integration, I‘ve learned:
It’s more than just about technology – it’s about: People. Process. Technology.”

Mindset & Values

How I work – and what you can count on.

Transformation is never just a technical or organizational challenge. It’s always a personal journey too – shaped by uncertainty, friction, and decisions under pressure. That’s where mindset truly matters.

My guiding principles:

  • Collaboration through partnership – clear, direct, and transparent.
  • Leadership with clarity – open to arguments, followed by decisive action.
  • Taking ownership – I’m not just a “PowerPoint consultant” or someone who only delivers strategy decks, but a shaper and enabler – at every relevant level.
  • Understanding complexity is key – because only those who have grasped it can resolve it.
  • Respect for what exists – and appreciation for what has already been achieved amidst change.
  • Courage and determination – to change what needs to change.

My approach:

I don’t drive transformation from the outside, but from within the organization – with a clear understanding: Your employees hold valuable operational and company-specific expertise. My role is to contribute methodology and experience to create clarity and structure, enabling your organization to operate even more effectively and efficiently – always focused on creating business value.

„Substantial results arise only through successful collaboration – rooted in shared values and true partnership.“

Working Principles

What defines my work – concrete and committed.

Reliable working principles are built on real-world experience – rather than empty phrases. Every engagement is as unique as a fingerprint, yet these core patterns shape all my work – from initial analysis through to successful implementation: Every engagement is as unique as a fingerprint, yet these core patterns shape all my work – from initial analysis through to successful implementation:

My working principles:

  • Strategy before technology: Technology decisions must follow the business strategy – never the other way around.
  • Structure and transparency over blind speed: Change requires visibility, clarity, and acceptance. Only what’s clearly understood can be effectively transformed.
  • Process thinking over system thinking: Start with the “what,” then define the “how” – always guided by business priorities and customer value. Because value is only created where the customer experiences it.
  • Architecture and processes are enablers – not instruments of control: Their purpose is to drive systematic, sustainable change – not to create bureaucracy.
  • Discuss together – commit together: Not every decision is made jointly, but open debate creates shared understanding, alignment, and the strong commitment needed for successful execution.

„Transformation is no coincidence – and certainly no experimentation.
It requires clear, consistent action – guided by direction, mindset, and structure.
That’s what I stand for – with experience, integrity, and an honest interest in my clients’ success.”

Clarity in Thinking. Integrity in Action.
